The V & A article also provides the young reader with a range of interesting and useful web links to contextualise Jasmine’s experiences.

Museums are the caretakers of our socio-economic and cultural heritage. If, as a young reader, you have been awed by your first visit to a museum, this article offers an example of how you can achieve engagement with an institution, and begin to contribute to its journey, whatever your backgroud.

Be inspired.

We are immensely grateful to the museum team for all their help and encouragement in support of our work.

Here at the NWM you will find events, and galleries looking at our industrial, social and community history. They have great cafe’s too. Family friendly and inclusive, a great spot to start a history journey.

Rydym yn hynod ddiolchgar i dîm yr amgueddfa am eu holl gymorth ac anogaeth i gefnogi ein gwaith.

Yma yn yr NWM fe welwch ddigwyddiadau, ac orielau yn edrych ar ein hanes diwydiannol, cymdeithasol a chymunedol. Mae ganddyn nhw gaffi gwych hefyd. Cyfeillgar i deuluoedd a chynhwysol, lle gwych i ddechrau taith hanes.
